Albelda was unwilling to accept this, and the stipulation has since been repealed.<br /><br />In turn, Albelda has allegedly lowered his economic demands from wishing to be compensated to the tune of his entire contract to a far lesser amount.<br /><br />On Thursday, Salom will meet with Toldrá in an attempt to finalise these and other matters, with hopes now high in both camps that an unspeakably messy and embarassing trial can be avoided.<br /><br />Also of note yesterday was the convocation of Valencia's legal team, who are looking to appeal David Villa's sending-off at Getafe on Sunday. They will contact the relevant authorities this afternoon.
